Esto supone un incremento ocasional imprevisto de trabajo, que hace necesario contratar una persona que ayudará a completar este estudio durante un periodo de aproximadamente 3 meses desarrollando algunas de las siguientes tareas: - Evaluación de la fatiga y de las funciones motora y cognitiva en ratas utilizando diferentes tests de comportamiento: fatiga (Treatmill) coordinación motora y marcha locomotora (utilizando los equipos Catwalk y Motorater), test de memoria espacial (laberinto en Y). Se utilizará para ello el programa de adquisición y análisis general de comportamiento Anymaze - Administración del tratamiento de golexanolona a las ratas mediante sonda intragástrica. - Disección y procesado del tejido (estriado, sustancia nigra y cerebelo) para su posterior análisis (fijación, homogenización). - Inmunohistoquímica para analizar el contenido de tirosina hidroxilasa y de alfa-sinucleína, muerte neuronal y activación de microglía y astrocitos, en estriado y sustancia nigra. - Análisis del contenido de subunidades del receptor GABAA y de receptores de dopamina en estriado y sustancia nigra por Western blot. - Análisis estadístico y representación de los datos utilizando los programas Excel y GraphPad Prism. - Preparación de los resultados para su presentación en comunicaciones a congresos y en artículos científicos. - Otras tareas relacionadas EL CV DEBE SUPRIMIR TODA REFERENCIA PERSONAL: NOMBRE, SEXO, EDAD, ESTADO CIVIL, NACIONALIDAD Y NO DEBE INCLUIR FOTOGRAFÍA. ______________________________________________________ The Neurobiology Laboratory has reached a new agreement with the Swedish company Umecrine, which has subcontracted it to carry out part of the study “Neurosteroid mediated control of sleep comorbidities in Parkinson's Disease,” funded by a grant from the Michael J. Fox Foundation (Grant ID MJFF-025484). This entails an unforeseen, one-off increase in workload, making it necessary to hire someone to assist in completing this study over a period of approximately three months by carrying out some of the following tasks: - Evaluation of fatigue and motor and cognitive functions in rats using different behavioral tests: fatigue (Treatmill), motor coordination and locomotor gait (using the Catwalk and Motorater equipment), spatial memory test (Y-maze). The software Anymaze to acquisition and analysis of behavior will be used for this purpose. - Administration of golexanolone treatment to rats through intragastric feeding tubes. - Dissection and processing of the tissue (striatum, substantia nigra and cerebellum) for subsequent analysis (fixation, homogenization). - Immunohistochemistry to analyze the content of tyrosine hydroxylase and alpha-synuclein, neuronal death and activation of microglia and astrocytes, in the striatum and substantia nigra. - Analysis of the content of GABAA receptor subunits and dopamine receptors in the striatum and substantia nigra by Western blot. - Statistical analysis and representation of data using Excel and GraphPad Prism softwares. - Preparation of results for presentation in Conferences and in scientific articles. - Other related tasks THE CV SHOULD REMOVE ALL PERSONAL REFERENCES: NAME, GENDER, AGE, MARITAL STATUS, NATIONALITY AND SHOULD NOT INCLUDE A PHOTOGRAPH.
